DayForce ATS

To integrate DayForce (formerly Ceridian Dayforce) ATS with Knit, you'll need:

  1. CompanyId:

You will find it in your profile tab of your dayforce account.

  1. Username:

This is the username used by web-service user during account creation. You will find it in your profile tab of your dayforce account.

  1. Password:

This is the password used by web-service user during account creation.


Prerequisites

Before you integrate, make sure the Role used for this integration is set as the Default Role for the user.

How to set a Default Role:

  1. Go to System Admin > User.
  2. Locate and open the User record (typically your own user).
  3. In the Roles section, check the “Is Default” box for the Role you plan to use for this integration.

Configure Feature Access

  1. Click on the hamburger button ( ) in the top left of your screen, and then click on System Admin > Roles

  2. Navigate to Features. Ensure HCM Anywhere and Web Services are checked

  3. In Web Services, expand the section and turn on POST/PATCH Candidate and Job Application Sourcing (this is mandatory for Dayforce).

  4. Using the top search bar, go to Recruiting Setup > Client Properties and enable Allow Candidates and Job Application Sourcing from External Job Boards.

  5. (OPTIONAL) Ensure your user role has permissions for Resume and Supporting Candidate Document under Documents > Admin > Document Types.

    1. Select each document type and use the right chevron (>) to add your role to the Roles panel on the bottom right.
    2. Grant your role Create, Read, and Update access.
